RECENT AND ONGOING WORKS

Autumn 2009 - We commenced a luxury detached and Architecturally designed house, built on many levels, inclulding a substantial basement area for a gynasium and wine cellar.
There is an ornamental pond in the garden and extensive areas of hard landscaping for outdoor entertaining and relaxation.
The project was won through competitive tendering and based on the single stage selective tender
process and has adopted the JCT Form of Contract. The clients have incorporated their own ideas
and style into the ongoing build and have used the opportunity to source materials and suppliers
that they have personally researched and which have demonstrated in many instances 'Green' or
'Eco' friendly credentials.
The project is due for completion in the Autumn of 2010

It has recently been quoted as "a modern and energy efficient show-piece" in
The Times 25/09/09

2008 to 2009 - This project was undertaken in Richmond Upon Thames and again demonstrated our ability to meet ongoing client needs and design ideas as the build developed. The client relocated to Richmond from Nottinghamshire and we were pleased to continue our business relationship, advising, budgeting and finally engaging an Architect to translate their requirements into an approved submission by the Local Planners.

The main structural work was centred on removing structural spine walls in the basement, opening this floor out and installing substantial structural steelwork. This created a lovely open aspect for 'Family Living', with a bespoke new kitchen fit out and rear area for children and adults alike. New rear fold aside doors opened out onto the secure rear garden. To the rear we also built a new 2 storey extension, providing larger rear drawing room space on level 1, and the style and materials were an excellent match to the existing style and period of the property. Throughout the rest of the property rooms we extended, altered and remodelled the space.

The project was undertaken in the form of a 'Design and Build' project

2009 to 2010 - We were invited to undertake these very challenging works in adapting and renovating this substantial Manor House in Leicestershire. The property dated back to the middle of the 18th Century and accordingly work was under the close supervision of the Local Planner, English Heritage, the Architect but particulary the client in order that this Grade II listed building was refurbished in complete sympathy with its history and pedigree. A collaboration of all professionals within the construction process achieved a remarkably successful outcome.

A modern lifestyle has been conceived and constructed within the strict terms of engagement. Our operatives took great delight in showing off their traditional skills which was nothing less than this stylish house deserved.

We were very proud to have been engaged as the Contractor on this project and would like further opportunity to endorse our capability in this specialist field of work with any enquiry or work you may be considering.
